Founded
in December 1988, Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Company Ltd.
("King Long") specializes in bus and coach R & D, manufacturing
and sales. They have three manufacturing plants: Bus & Coach Manufacturing
in Xiamen, Mini Van Manufacturing in
Xiamen, and our Public Transit Bus Manufacturing in Shaoxing. They also
have two holdings subsidiaries - Higer Bus Company, Ltd. and Nanjing King Long
Coach Manufacturing Company, Ltd., King Long is one of the world's largest
public transit bus and coach manufacturers.
The three
manufacturing plants have a total annual production capacity of 50,000 buses,
which range from 4.8m to 18m in length and cover fields such as passenger
transport, travel, group transport, public transport and special transport. In
2009, the company sold 15,344 buses with sales revenue of 774 million USD.
Since
2000, King Long has been implementing an international expansion plan. Thanks
to the outstanding performance in developing their overseas markets, King Long
was the first to acquire export qualifications and honors such as "Certificate for Import & Export Inspection Exemption" and
"National Vehicle Export Base Enterprise". In 2009, the export
revenue reached 189 million USD, products were sold in more than 80 countries
and regions, and added over 50 spare parts distributors to ensure customers
safe and efficient operations.
